Karen Siddall
Over 20 years legal recruitment experience following 5 years working as a lawyer within commercial disputes for a global law firm. More recently I have worked in-house within talent acquisition for the BBC before joining a national law firm as a partner hiring consultant before taking the decision to return to agency.
Why did you join Anakin Seal?
I always remember Anakin Seal being famous for their Beajoulais evenings back in the day when working as a lawyer and it’s a name I have always known throughout my legal recruitment career. This particular opportunity at AS appealed to me as I was excited about the prospect of playing an active role in building back up the Corporate and Commercial side of the AS legal business and working alongside like-minded and experienced recruiters.
What are your interests outside of work
I have two daughters age 21 and 16 so now they are a bit older I have a bit more ‘me’ time to enjoy playing Padel with my friends and weekends away with my partner. I’m also stuck with a pony my daughters have outgrown – but I do love him and it’s very relaxing at the end of a busy day to spend time with him. I would also say I go to the gym but as it’s closed for renovations for 6 months that means I can’t go – that’s my excuse anyway.
