Associate – Residential Plot Sales| Leading National Real Estate Team
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a highly regarded national real estate team, acting for some of the UK’s leading housebuilders, registered providers and local authorities. Manchester based / Hybrid working.
This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of residential development projects, supporting clients from acquisition and site set-up through to plot sales and post-completion matters. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team with a strong reputation in the residential development sector and access to high-quality work on a national scale.
The Role
You’ll take responsibility for a varied caseload of residential development and plot sales matters, working on both leasehold and freehold schemes across England and Wales.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Setting up development sites for plot sales, including preparing sales packs and precedent documentation
- Drafting transfers, leases and shared ownership documentation for a variety of developments
- Advising on residential development schemes, including multi-phase and multi-tenure projects
- Supporting acquisition teams on title and development matters relevant to future sales
- Acting for private developers, registered providers and local authorities
- Providing ongoing support to dedicated sales and post-sales teams
- Working alongside specialist teams across real estate, litigation and energy
- Managing client relationships and delivering excellent client service
- Contributing to business development initiatives, client presentations and thought leadership activities
About You

- Experience within residential development, plot sales or residential conveyancing
- Exposure to development site set-up and plot sale transactions
- Strong drafting and technical skills
- Experience acting for developers, housing associations or local authorities
- Excellent organisational and client management abilities
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving
- The ability to work collaboratively within a national team environment
- An interest in business development and building client relationships
