This UK top 100 law firm are looking for an in-house Risk and Best Practice Lawyer to join their firm in the South West with flexibility in relation to location.

Role Overview

Are you a legal professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for mitigating risks? This firm are seeking a dedicated Risk & Best Practice Lawyer to join their esteemed team. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Senior Risk Lawyer and the Director of Risk and Best Practice, playing a pivotal role in ensuring our firm’s risk management and compliance services remain effective and robust. From managing claims and complaints to advising on a range of risk and compliance matters, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Candidate Profile

The firm are looking for a qualified Solicitor or CILEx with a background in litigation and a solid understanding of risk and compliance management. If you have a good working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and codes of conduct, including the SRA Handbook, and possess strong commercial awareness, you could be the perfect fit for this role. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Previous experience in a similar role within a law firm is advantageous but not mandatory.
