Professional Indemnity Lawyer – Senior Solicitor / Partner – Manchester

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Lawyer or Partner to join their professional indemnity team, operating out of its Manchester city centre office. This pivotal role involves strategic leadership, managing a diverse caseload with a focus on construction, and supervising junior colleagues. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice, support team growth, and ensure exceptional client care standards.

Candidate Profile

Extensive expertise in professional indemnity law, preferably with a background in construction disputes.
Demonstrated track record of technical excellence and commercially focused advice delivery.
Strong client management, practice development, and business development skills.
Proven ability to effectively manage and mentor legal teams.
Sound understanding of legal/insurance relationships, particularly in liability insurance contexts.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective managerial abilities with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Hybrid working but a minimum of three days per week in the Manchester office is expected.
