OCCUPATIONAL DISEASE LEGAL ASSISTANT

This leading insurance firm are looking for a Personal injury Legal Assistant to join their office in Greater Manchester.

Role Overview

The firm are seeking a Legal Assistant for a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for efficiently progressing and resolving files, including complex and high-value claims such as short tail and long tail disease claims. From drafting court documents to client reporting and advocacy, you’ll play a crucial role in achieving chargeable targets and ensuring compliance with client SLAs and court directions.

Candidate Profile

The firm are looking for candidates who possess:

– Ideally a degree in Law/LPC Graduates/CILEX trained
– Knowledge of Disease is desirable but not essential
– Litigation experience is desirable but not mandatory
– Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
– Proficiency in MS Office and Claims/Case Management systems
– Ability to succeed and excel in a fast-paced environment
– Willingness to develop technical knowledge and experience
