About the Role:

Join my clients dynamic Health Litigation team, specialising in clinical negligence claims for NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, and other defendant clinical negligence clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As an NQ Health Litigation Solicitor at this prestigious legal firm in Manchester, you will run a caseload of clinical negligence files, including:

Drafting reports to the NHS Resolution
Interviewing witnesses
Drafting witness statements
Instructing experts
Instructing counsel
Attending Court for Case Management Conferences and Application Hearings
Negotiating settlements
Holding conferences with Counsel
Preparing for and attending trials and mediations

Additional Duties:

Cover secondments to NHS Resolution and local hospital Trusts
Assist colleagues in the running of higher value claims
Draft articles for clients
Cover free advice clinics at local hospital Trusts
Give client training and presentations
Supervise and coach junior members of the team

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified solicitor with up to NQ level experience
Solid understanding of clinical negligence claims and litigation process
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
