Legal Cashier (2 YRS+)
The Role
- Manage all client and office funds, including cash, BACS payments, petty cash, and reconciliations
- Post transactions and maintain purchase ledger; process expense claims and payroll
- Reconcile monthly accounts in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with billing
- Provide first-line IT support and coordinate with external IT providers
- Support HR record-keeping and Health & Safety compliance
- Liaise with external accountants for year-end reporting
About You
- Previous experience as a legal cashier or in a similar accounts role within a law firm
- Strong numeracy and IT skills; confident with banking systems and finance software
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines efficiently
- Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
