Family Law Solicitor (3+ PQE)
The Role
You will manage a busy private family law caseload, providing high-quality legal advice and excellent client care across a range of matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a varied caseload, including divorce, financial remedy, Children Act matters, non-molestation/occupation orders, and cohabitation (TOLATA) disputes
- Draft applications, statements, bundles and other court documents
- Maintain regular, professional communication with clients
- Attend hearings and undertake advocacy where appropriate
- Ensure files are well organised and compliant with internal processes
- Record time accurately and meet agreed billing and productivity targets
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support junior staff when required
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ Family Law experience
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Confident in managing a busy caseload
- Highly organised, attentive to detail and client-focused
- Calm, professional and empathetic under pressure
Desirable:
- Experience in both children and financial matters
- Advocacy experience
