    Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive – Defendant Personal Injury Litigation (Casualty)

    Role Overview
    An excellent opportunity for a Chartered Legal Executive or Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a nationally recognised Insurance Disputes team in Birmingham. The role involves managing your own caseload of defendant Employers’ and Public Liability claims, including complex Multi Track matters, and supporting on high-value catastrophic injury cases. This position suits someone with experience in casualty litigation and a strong understanding of insurer clients’ needs.

    Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

    • 5+ years’ PQE in personal injury litigation
    • Strong experience handling EL/PL claims, including Multi Track work
    • Ability to work independently and guide junior team members
    • Familiarity with insurer SLAs, reporting standards, and MI preparation
    • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
    • Advocacy experience and confident legal research abilities
    • Experience with healthcare or construction-related injury claims is advantageous
