A leading national law firm is seeking a talented Pensions Solicitor to join its market-leading Employment, Pensions and Immigration team based in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with pensions experience to join a highly regarded practice that advises some of the UK’s largest and most recognisable employers on a broad range of complex pensions matters.

The Opportunity
You will work alongside experienced pensions specialists, supporting clients across both the private and public sectors. The role offers exposure to a diverse mix of advisory, transactional and documentation work, providing an excellent platform for career development within a nationally recognised team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied caseload of pensions matters.
- Advising clients on all aspects of pensions law relating to both private and public sector pension schemes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Supporting innovation initiatives and the development of new products and services.
- Assisting with business development activities, including networking events, marketing initiatives and client engagement.
- Ensuring compliance with client and internal service level agreements.
- Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
About You
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a genuine interest in, and enthusiasm for, pensions law and a desire to build a long-term career within a leading specialist team.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with ideally 1-6 years’ PQE gained in pensions law.
- Experience of pensions advisory, transactional and documentation work.
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset.
