Fee Earner – Personal Injury (MOJ)
About the Role
In this pivotal role, you’ll manage a diverse caseload of both MOJ (Ministry of Justice) and non-MOJ personal injury claims from inception to resolution. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking initial client instructions and providing clear advice on the claims process
- Managing cases efficiently through the MOJ Portal, ensuring timely progression
- Regularly liaising with clients, insurers, and third parties to gather information and negotiate settlements
- Assessing liability and devising effective case strategies to maximize client outcomes
- Ensuring all work complies with SRA regulations and internal policies
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of experience handling MOJ and personal injury claims, with the ability to manage your own caseload independently
- Proven ability to negotiate confidently with insurers and third parties
- Familiarity with cases involving liability disputes and claims management
- Experience with case management systems, preferably Proclaim
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Sound knowledge of SRA compliance requirements and regulatory standards
