Solicitor – Financial Mis-Selling & Civil Litigation (4+ YRS PQE)
Role Overview:
A dynamic law firm based in Manchester is expanding its financial mis-selling litigation team and is seeking a qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in consumer finance mis-selling claims, particularly in PCP/car finance. You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to litigation, including drafting pleadings, completing disclosure, instructing counsel, and preparing for trial.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed:
- 4+ years’ PQE in civil litigation, ideally financial mis-selling/PCP/car finance.
- Proven ability to manage litigated claims from inception to trial or resolution.
- Excellent drafting and advocacy skills: pleadings, witness statements, court bundles.
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, consumer credit law, and mis-selling frameworks.
- Confident liaising with clients, counsel, and financial institutions; excellent client-care.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple files.
- Qualified to practice in England & Wales as a solicitor.
