Role Overview
A leading UK law firm is seeking a Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its expanding Corporate team in London. Acting as a cornerstone within the department, you will play a key role in managing complex transactional work, supervising junior colleagues, and supporting partners on high-value matters.
This is an opportunity to work on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including M&A, equity fundraising, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and company reorganisations, while contributing to the team’s strategic growth in London.
Candidate Profile/Experience needed
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in corporate law gained within private practice.
- Experienced in running corporate transactions from start to finish, including due diligence processes, drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, and managing completion.
- Skilled in supervising junior fee earners and coordinating external advisers.
- Commercially minded with the ability to adapt legal advice to meet clients’ business needs.
- Organised, with strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
- Ambitious, proactive, and able to build trusted relationships with clients and referrers.
