Role Overview Are you a Criminal Lawyer looking to transition into regulatory law? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Tier 1-ranked regulatory team in Birmingham, specialising in Health & Safety, Motor Crime, and Inquests. You’ll work on both advisory and post-incident matters across various sectors, including healthcare, corporate, and public services. This role is ideal for a solicitor with a background in criminal law, especially motor crime, seeking to broaden their expertise in regulatory law.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
- 1–3 years PQE, ideally with experience in Health & Safety, Motor Crime, or Inquests
- Strong background in criminal law and procedure (with Motor Crime experience highly desirable)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Passion for regulatory law and a flexible, learning-oriented approach
- Effective communicator with experience engaging directly with clients
- Proven ability to manage sensitive material and large case volumes
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
