Role Overview

We are partnering with a prestigious, market-leading law firm to recruit an isnurance lawyer for a role within their Financial Institutions (FI) and Directors & Officers (D&O) Insurance team based in London.

This team handles high-profile, complex insurance claims and disputes for leading global insurers and reinsurers. The work spans various jurisdictions and includes coverage litigation, arbitration, mediation, and claims monitoring.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an internationally recognised team, advising on some of the most significant losses in the insurance market.

Candidate Profile/Experience Needed

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE, with a strong background in FI and D&O insurance coverage and liability disputes. You will need to display excellent legal ability, a keen eye for detail, and the confidence to manage a diverse caseload. While coverage expertise is essential, any experience in defense work, particularly in the financial services sector, will be an advantage. The team values strong communicators who thrive in a fast-paced, collegiate environment, with excellent academics and a genuine interest in developing their expertise in this area of law.

Language skills, while not essential, are highly valued due to the international nature of the team’s work.
