A leading Pensions practice is looking to recruit an Investment lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' PQE for a new role within their specialist team. The role will be providing advice to both trustees and employers in relation to legal and governance aspects of pension scheme investments and hedging. Responsibilities will include:Providing advice on Liability Driven Investments including negotiating supporting ISDA and other counterparty/clearing agreements.Advising on alternative assets (including hedge funds, private equity, infrastructure, insurance-linked and commodities).Advising on longevity transactions, including buy-ins, longevity swaps and synthetic buy-ins.Negotiating all investment related documentation e.g. investment management and transition agreements and custody agreement.Helping to up-skill pension lawyers within the firm in these areas by passing on knowledge through formal and informal training.Please apply in strict confidence.
