Construction Solicitor A Construction Solicitor is sought by this national commercial law firm to join the team based in Birmingham. The role for a Construction Solicitor has arisen in order to continue the growth of the department. The ideal Construction Solicitor will have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. This experience will have been gained with a strong regional or national commercial law firm or a Construction boutique. You will inherit a caseload of both contentious and non-contentious construction matters acting for both public and private sector clients. More specifically you will advise on and draft framework agreements for major projects and, on the contentious side, acting for contractors and local authorities in many disputes under NEC, ICE, JCT, MF/1 and I Chem E contracts. You will also be advising on professional negligence matters. As a Construction Solicitor you will also be expected to play a key role in the continuing development of the department by assisting in marketing and business development. Prior supervisory experience would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Solicitor to join a dynamic and expanding practice with very high quality work and the chance to work alongside partners who are considered leaders in the field.
