New opening for a law costs draftsman/ negotiator to join the Sheffield office of this national full service law firm. The costs department deal with files from a broad range of legal disciplines, including personal injury and insurance, as well as more corporate and commercial areas. The files range in value from small through to multi track and are predominantly defendant based. Our client is looking for candidates with previous experience working as a law costs draftsman/ negotiator, from either a claimant or defendant background. You should have solid experience drafting bills and points of dispute/ responses, as well as negotiating on files. Advocacy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.Unusually our client is flexible on the type of costs files applicants have experience in, and for the right candidate they are willing to consider applications from any legal discipline and to provide the necessary training.
