This successful and expanding firm of independent trustees has created a new role for a Consulting Trustee to join the business. The work will mostly concentrate on ongoing work for live schemes but there will be a rolling caseload of wind-up and insolvency work as well, albeit forming a much smaller percentage. The ideal candidate will be legally, APMI or FIA qualified with a background in pensions consulting, a strong technical grasp of DB schemes and exposure to all aspects of scheme operations and management. As well as having the client skills to manage a portfolio of work, the jobholder will also need to be skilled in the commercial, networking and business development techniques required to build connections and new revenues in this rapidly expanding sector. Considerable financial and career incentives are available for the right person.
