This leading professional services firm advises large corporate clients on all aspects of HR change/strategy, outsourcing and Employee Benefits. Their specialist arm providing advice on all aspects of corporate pensions is looking for an experienced Pensions Lawyer to join an impressive team of professionals in this niche sector. The work will involve advising the trustees and employers sponsoring DB schemes on all legal aspects of scheme management and operation, the ramifications of legislative change and the associated documentation drafting around these issues and developments. The work is partly client facing and partly providing advice to other colleagues on legal issues but is largely regarded as a chargeable resource. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Pensions Lawyer who can offer a strong technical background, client skills and impeccable drafting abilities. A private practice background is preferred but in house Pensions Lawyers would also be welcome provided they have the aptitude and willingness to take on a client orientated remit. This is interesting work and might be an intriguing diversion for a Lawyer who is disillusioned with life at a law firm but is not ready to go down the PSL route and still wants client contact, certainly the hours would be more manageable.
