Anakin Seal is our legal recruitment division recruiting fee-earners at all levels, from equity partners through to legal executives and paralegals. Established in 1993, it has since grown to become one of the leading consultancies in its field, with offices in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and London.

Partner appointments
We can guide lawyers at both salaried and equity level through the often complex route to a partner appointment, and offer assistance on negotiating a financial package, restrictive covenants, client followings, and extrication from partnership deeds.

Locum & Contract Division
Our experienced consultants place lawyers, legal executives and paralegals into private practice, public sector and commerce & industry. Roles vary in length from 1 week to 12 months +. Whether you are looking for a locum to help out with excessive workload, holiday cover, maternity or a specific project or are a locum looking for your next assignment, we may be able to assist.

Assistant/Associate Solicitors
From newly qualified solicitors to senior associates, we provide a comprehensive career planning and recruitment service, giving an objective overview of the marketplace in relation to individual requirements and opportunities.

Legal Executive Division
Anakin Seal launched the first national division dedicated to the recruitment of non-solicitor fee-earning staff. This incorporates fellows, members and trainees of the Institute of Legal Executives, paralegals and other individuals with fee-earning experience.

Specialist Services
Our consultants offer a wide range of specialist services to both clients and candidates which complement our core recruitment business. These include advice on salaries, offers and negotiations, current market trends, staff retention, staff management techniques and general HR issues. In addition, we are able to offer practical advice and guidance to firms seeking to merge with or acquire another practice.

In-House Lawyers
Anakin Seal is able to offer considerable expertise in recruiting for in-house legal roles. Our consultants have recruited Company Secretarial staff, Legal Compliance Managers and Heads of Legal, as well as more usual solicitor and fee-earning roles. We understand the differing demands of an in-house position and accordingly are well placed to advise both candidates and clients.
